Shoppylist: Grocery List App Reviews

Need so have an option for putting things in alphabetical order. The previous version was better in that respect.

She writes the list, I go pick it up. No adjustments about what I did or did not get. Thank you.

I have to keep resetting the list build (from the bottom up) each time I log on. Why is that? List in alphabet order would be nice. Maybe assign a number to each item that can be used to order items in the list. That way you can group things in the same aisle in the store. Thanks.

I am indecisive about whether to keep using this app. I love how I can see on one page all the stores I need to go to and what I need at each store, but the amount of clicks you have to do for everything is really annoying and unnecessary. For instance, after you buy something, it takes 3 different clicks on different buttons to delete it! So when I get home from a large shopping trip and I need to delete a ton of items off of my list, it takes forever! My suggestion would be that under settings when you can turn on the option to hide bought items, that it hides it from the screen that shows a summery of all stores. For my purposes, thats where I need it hidden. I like to look at that page to plan my shopping trips and see which items I can switch that I had ideally listed at one store to instead be bought at the store I have to go to that day.

This app works great. Not too many options, not too few, not complicated by needing to jump all over. I use it for all my shopping.

This is the only list app I have found that has an active widget for your lock screen to check items off your list. The uncomplicated user experience makes it easy to add items to your lists, and will even suggest recently checked off items for when you need to re-buy. Simple, efficient, no unneeded graphics or colors. 10/10 would recommend.

I have downloaded a lot of them. Sometimes they can make it to complicated. I just want a simple shopping list I can add items really quick. And this app does it. Now playing around with it more, I would like if you can put you list in alphabetical order, maybe throw in some background themes. But other than that, its simple, easy and I am happy with this one.

I like to arrange my items by where I can find them in the store if I know the layout. But there seems to be no way to rearrange the list

Nice app, nice layout, very functional. Would like to see it have the capability to sync to multiple devices. This app is mainly for singles or the primary shopper in the household. Make it sync to at least two devices and this app would be a MUST HAVE. I really like that you made it work from the notifications/lock screen!

The app is easy enough to use. Perhaps a little too easy. The Clear List option is right next to the Cancel option so you could very easily completely wipe out your list because there is no verification dialog so it just wipes it out. It also seems very attached to its own categories. Entering a new item of the same name and then trying to change its category can be a real challenge. Also, it would be nice if it gave you just a little more indication of when an item was checked off. As it is, it just disappears, which is easy enough but it would be nice to have a brief flash or something.
